LET US ALL WORK TOGETHER TO ADVANCE THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE OF THE COUNTRY – JUABEN MCE

The Municipal Chief Executive of Juaben Municipal Assembly in the Ashanti Region, Hon. Omane Aboagye has urged the people in the Municipality to work together and roll out measures to resurrect the economy and advance the development of the country.

He said this during the 66TH Independence Day Celebration Parade at Juaben Senior High School with the theme: “Our Unity, Our Strength, Our Purpose”. He also adviced that we should come together with one mind, common understanding and compromise with the government’s laid down measures like Gold for Oil, Debt Restructuring Policy, Centralized Sale of the Dollar which aims at reviving the economy.

Hon. Omane assured the people that our economy would come back to life. He stated that this is a crucial time and that with teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved. He continued that, it is the divine responsibility of adults to ensure the shaping of the moral lives of the youth so that they can become responsible adults and that all old and young have the duty of moving the country forward.

The MCE concluded his speech and expressed gratitude to Nananom, students, all invited guests and the Juaben Rural Bank for their continued support to Independence day celebrations and other national activities.

Seventeen (17) schools took part in the parade; two (2) Senior High Schools and Fifteen (15) Junior High Schools.

For the SHS category, Juaben Senior High School won the parade marching. Mothersmith Preparatory JHS won the 1st position for the JHS category followed by Juaben Methodist JHS as 2nd and Dumakwai JHS took the 3rd place.

The best 2022 BECE candidate in the Juaben Municipality was awarded by the Juaben Municipal Assembly and the best 2022 WASSCE candidate was also awarded by the Member of Parliament for Juaben Constituency.
