Juaben MCE Visits BECE Centres, Donates Snacks and Soft Drinks to Candidates

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Juaben Municipal Assembly, Eunice Ohenewaa Ansu, has toured various Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) centres within the municipality to encourage candidates and provide them with snacks and soft drinks during the ongoing examinations.

The visit formed part of the Assembly’s commitment to supporting education and promoting academic excellence among students in the municipality.

During the tour, the MCE interacted with the candidates and examination officials, urging the students to remain focused, disciplined and confident throughout the examination period. She advised the candidates to avoid examination malpractice and work hard to achieve excellent results that would secure their future.

As part of the support, cartons of biscuits, bottled drinks and other refreshments were donated to the various centres to help refresh the candidates during the exams.

She stated that the Assembly remains committed to creating a conducive environment for teaching and learning, adding that supporting candidates during examinations was necessary to motivate them to perform well.

Teachers and supervisors at the centres expressed appreciation to the Assembly for the gesture, describing it as thoughtful and timely.

Some candidates also thanked the MCE for the visit and encouragement, noting that the donation had boosted their morale and given them confidence as they continue with their examinations.
