
Mrs Eunice Ohenewaa Ansu, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Juaben, has warned candidates taking the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in the Municipality to stay away from examination malpractices to avoid cancellation of their papers

She made the call when he was accompanied by officials from the Municipal Education Directorate to visit four examination centres within the municipality to monitor the process of the examination.

The MCE encouraged the candidates to remain focused, courageous, and bold not to entertain fears, avoid cheating, and write the exam with confidence to come out with flying colours and enjoy the Free Senior High School policy better under the President Mahama’s administration.

A total of 1,465 candidates from 9 private and 34 public schools, made up of 757 males and 708 females in the Juaben Municipality, registered for the examination, but one Prince OWusu Snr. from Duamponpo MA JHS was absent.

The supervisor at the centre informed the team that one candidate absent was due to financial challenges that led him to a galamsey site.

Mrs. Phyllis Boateng, the Municipal Director of Education, advised the candidates to comport themselves throughout the examination to ensure that the municipality recorded incidence free examination.
She tasked them to adhere to the rules and regulations pertaining to exams and tackle questions with confidence.
