ASHANTI REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF THE INFORMATION SERVICES DEPARTMENT (ISD) PAID A WORKING VISIT TO THE JUABEN MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY

Nana Akrasi Sarpong, Ashanti Regional Information Director has paid a working visit to the Juaben Municipal ISD office to familiarize the staff, Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD), and Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) with new measures being implemented to promote government projects through modern technology.”

He was accompanied by Mr. Francis Akowuah Ghansah, an official from the Regional Information Monitoring team, on a visit to Ejisu, Juaben, and Kumawu Districts to share with them new reforms within the department.

Nana Akrasi charged the information officers to submit their annual communication strategy plan to the assembly for review and incorporation into the assembly’s mainstream activities.

He hinted that the government is poised to revamp the department by providing the Information Services Department with desktop computers with routers and 40 information vans to ensure effective public education.

Dr. Stephen Lurimuah, Coordinating Director of Juaben Municipal Assembly, commended the ISD Regional Monitoring team for their visionary initiative.

He expressed optimism that the introduction of modern technology and communication strategy plans would help streamline activities, avoid duplication of efforts, and effectively showcase government projects and initiatives.
