Juaben Mce Embarks On Monitoring Visit To Ongoing Government Projects

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Juaben, Hon. Eunice Ohenewaa Ansu, has embarked on a monitoring visit to ongoing government-funded educational projects within the municipality to assess progress and ensure quality delivery. The visit took place on 5th February 2026 and it forms part of the Assembly’s commitment to improving access to quality education and promoting equitable development across all communities.

At Amangoase, the MCE inspected the construction of a six-unit primary school classroom block with an office, library, store, and a six-unit KVIP facility for both males and females.

At Onaa, the MCE also inspected the construction of a two-unit kindergarten (KG) classroom block with an office and toilet facility, which she described as a major boost to early childhood education in the community.

The projects are being executed by Red-Orange Limited, with Mr. Amoh Poku Bright as the contractor. He assured the MCE of quality workmanship and indicated that the projects are scheduled for completion within a six-month period, subject to unforeseen challenges.

She expressed satisfaction with the progress of work and urged the contractor to adhere strictly to specifications and timelines. She also encouraged the communities to take ownership of the projects to ensure their proper maintenance upon completion.

Residents of Onaa and Amangoase have described the project as a historic milestone, noting that it is the first time in the history of the community that a formal school is being constructed.

They said the new school projects would greatly reduce the burden on parents and improve school enrolment.
