The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Juaben, Hon. Eunice Ohenewaa Ansu, has inspected the ongoing Boamadumase – Duapompo road reshaping works as part of efforts to improve road conditions and ease transportation within the municipality. This took place on 5th February 2026.

The visit was to assess the progress of work and ensure that the reshaping exercise meets the required standards to make the road safe and motorable, particularly during the rainy season.

Community members expressed appreciation to the government and the Juaben Municipal Assembly for responding to their concerns. They said the poor state of the road in the past made movement difficult, especially for farmers transporting their produce and for commercial drivers.

They noted that the ongoing reshaping works would significantly reduce travel time, improve access to nearby communities, and enhance economic activities in the area.

During the inspection, Madam Ansu engaged with operators on site and stressed the importance of proper grading, levelling, and drainage to ensure the durability of the road. She assured residents that the Assembly would continue to monitor the works closely to achieve the desired outcome.

The inspection forms part of the MCE’s routine monitoring of development projects across the municipality to promote accountability and improve service delivery.
