The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Juaben, Mrs. Eunice Ansu Ohenewaa on 15th January 2026, handed over 10,000 birds to Local farmers in Juaben.
This was done under ‘Nkoko Nkitinkiti’ poultry initiative which is aimed to restore the poultry value chain, boost local production, enhance food security, and create jobs for youth across the country.
“The initiative is designed to bring poultry production directly to the doorstep of every Ghanaian in homes, in schools, and in communities across the country, Vulnerable households will receive pullets and starter packs to initiate production, transforming subsistence into self-sustaining livelihoods”
The MCE was supported by the Municipal Agric Director, Mr. Adu Gyamfi and some party executives.
