
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Juaben, Mrs. Eunice Ansu Ohenewaa has paid a working visit to Nana Abeyie Farms and Food Bank in Juaben to assess the progress of the ‘Nkoko Nkitinkiti’ poultry initiative.
The project aims to restore the poultry value chain, boost local production, enhance food security, and create jobs for youth across the country.
“The initiative is designed to bring poultry production directly to the doorstep of every Ghanaian in homes, in schools, and in communities across the country, Vulnerable households will receive pullets and starter packs to initiate production, transforming subsistence into self-sustaining livelihoods”
During the visit, the MCE inspected the poultry units and hatchery facilities, commending the management for their hard work.

She assured them of the Assembly’s continuous support to expand the initiative and strengthen agribusiness within the Municipality.
Nana Abeyie, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Abeyie Farms and Food Bank, expressed gratitude for the support, noting that promises made during the general election campaign were becoming a reality.

He disclosed that 5,000 day-old chicks, 250kg of starter feed, and Clogose 500g had been delivered.
Nana Abeyie encouraged young people to explore opportunities in agriculture, emphasizing its potential for success and development.
The visit concluded with a renewed commitment to promote agriculture and build a stronger food-secure in Juaben.

The MCE was accompanied by the Municipal Agric Director, Mr. Adu Gyamfi, Principal Agricultural Officer, Mr. Agyemang Dua, and some party executives.
