
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Juaben, Hon. Eunice Ohenewaa Ansu, has extended significant support to the people of Dumakwai through the donation of building materials and streetlights to enhance community development and improve living conditions.

During a visit to the community, the MCE presented 100 bags of cement to support the ongoing construction of a community center. The facility, when completed, is expected to serve as a hub for meetings, social gatherings, and other important activities.

In addition, she donated 10 streetlights to help improve visibility and security within the community, especially at night.

In a related gesture, Hon. Ansu also presented five packets of roofing sheets to MA Primary School in Dumakwai following the destruction of parts of the school’s roof by a recent windstorm. The intervention is expected to restore the damaged structure and create a safe and conducive learning environment for pupils and teachers.

Speaking at the presentation, the MCE reaffirmed her commitment to addressing the needs of communities within the municipality, stressing that development must reach every corner of Juaben. She noted that supporting education and infrastructure remains a priority for the Assembly.

The Chief of Dumakwai, Nana Oti Yeboah II, expressed his profound gratitude to the MCE for the timely and impactful support. He commended her for her dedication to the welfare of the people and noted that the donation of cement would greatly accelerate the completion of the community center, while the streetlights would significantly improve security in the area.

Nana Oti Yeboah II also highlighted the importance of collaboration between traditional authorities and the Assembly in driving development. He assured the MCE of the community’s readiness to support and maintain the projects to ensure their long-term benefits.

The residents also expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as a major relief, particularly following the recent storm damage to the school.

The donations form part of the Juaben Municipal Assembly’s ongoing efforts to promote development and improve the quality of life for residents across the municipality.
