JUABEN MCE HOLDS THANKSGIVING TO THANK GOD FOR NOMINATION & CONFIRMATION

The St Paul’s Anglican Church, Juaben branch, has held a thanksgiving service in honour of the Juaben Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) Mrs. Eunice Ohenewaa Ansu.

According to the MCE, the event was to express her gratitude to the Almighty God for his guidance and protection throughout the nomination, confirmation, and swearing into office as the new MCE.

The Thanksgiving service was interspersed with songs of thanksgiving to which the congregation mostly clad in white dress, danced to the glory of God.

The service was attended by traditional rulers, heads of departments, assembly members, constituency executives, and some family members of the MCE.

Speaking with the media after the church service, Rev. Father Charles Kofi Sarpong of St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Juaben advised the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) not to abandon her supporters who stood by her during the hard times in opposition.

Rev. Father Sarpong admonished the MCE to remain humble and show gratitude to the people of Juaben by prioritizing their needs and concerns.

He called on the church members, assembly staff, assembly members, and the community members to support the newly confirmed MCE to achieve her vision.

In her address to the congregation, the MCE promised to collaborate fully with the Member of Parliament (MP) for Juaben Constituency and other stakeholders to develop the Municipality during her tenure.

The MCE urged the good people of Juaben Municipality to put aside their political differences and work together as one family with a common goal to develop the area.

She pledged to train more youth in apprenticeship skills in order to reduce unemployment in the municipality.

The MCE further  expressed her readiness to help women grow their business and trade through the Women’s Development Bank under President Mahama’s resetting Ghana agenda.
