Mrs. Eunice Ohenewaa Ansu, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Juaben, has presented 13 mattresses and an undisclosed amount of cash to victims of the Bomfa and Adumasa fire incidents.

The donation was made during her visit to the affected areas on 29th October 2025, where she assessed the damage caused by the fires.

According to Kwame Asamoah, a fire victim at Adumasa, the blaze occurred on Monday, October 20, 2025, when an electrical fault sparked a fire while residents were away at work, destroying properties worth millions of Ghana cedis.

The MCE was accompanied by officials from the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), the District Police Commander, the National Fire Service, and the Information Services Department (ISD).

During a media interview, she advised the public to use quality electrical materials and deal with professionals for wiring to prevent future fire outbreaks.

She also encouraged residents to switch off electrical appliances when not in use.

The victims expressed gratitude for the MCE’s gesture and appealed for further support from NGOs, businessmen, and individuals.
